Phillip Barret Jr., loving husband, father and pepe passed unexpected at his home at the age of 58 with family by his side on Friday, February 7th, 2020. Phillip was a lifelong resident of Pawtucket, RI. Born December 4, 1961 in Pawtucket RI to Phillip and Doris (Fredette) Barrett.
He is survived by his loving wife Linda Barrett and his 3 sons Phillip Barrett III, Jonathan Barrett and Jason Barrett. Also, by his 3 sisters and 1 brother, Leona Graham, Alice Saba, Nancy Cady, Dan Kopoian, and eight grandchildren Reese, Julian, Natalie, Bianca, Autumn, Karina, Jaralyn and one expected in August. Many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews. Phillip was a hard-working family man. He did everything for his family and friends. He formed long lasting friendships from working for the late John Martins (before Sterry St.) to his 15 years at Perlows Auto in Pawtucket, owned PB & Sons Auto Removal. Also, the city of Pawtucket till he started family sweeping and had a successful business for 10yrs. Then he wanted to get back to his love of towing, so started Barrett’s Towing and from then has been a successful business with his wife and sons. In his free time Phillip enjoyed spending time with his family going to the Crescent Park Carousel, Canabie Lake Park, shell fishing at “Barretts beach” loved family cookouts, just anything to do with his wife, sons and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 15th, from 2pm until 4pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be private.
